The Fighting Spirit Awards are returning!!
From several long conversations with Mr P, culminating in a foundation agreed in a Thai restaurant in Stratford-Upon-Avon, the Fighting Spirit Awards were born out of a deep desire to formally recognise and reward the achievements of many who felt ignored by the mainstream Martial Arts industry.
The Fighting Spirit Awards were both highly successful and very emotional for all the right reasons, INTEGRITY being the key word which came out of the initial conversation and which resonated with everyone who attended.
The Fighting Spirit Awards gave birth to The British Martial Arts Awards which in itself, was extremely successful.
Since we lost our beloved Mr P, the void he left has been felt in many ways.
I promised him I would keep his legacy alive.
I promised him I would ensure that these awards continue and
I promised him that the integrity upon which they were founded, would be the No 1 driving force in it's continuation, when the time was right.
THE TIME IS RIGHT......
